Sandwell Homes celebrate 100th Diversity Workshop delivered by Ethical Training
Between September 2004 and April 2008 Sandwell Homes delivered 100 Diversity Workshops (initially as part of our Strategy for Meeting Diverse Customer Needs and the recently revamped Equality and Diversity workshops) to promote equality within our services and ensure our Employees know how to deliver services across many cultural and language barriers. "We are delighted with the training delivered by Lynne Hunt from Ethical Training Consultancy Ltd", says Rose Penn, Learning & Development Manager. "Equality is an important part of our organizational culture and customer services". The sessions were designed with a strong emphasis on customer care and challenges employees to consider the effect of personal behaviour(s) when meeting or speaking with customers.
In total around 1,250 employees, (89% of our workforce) have been trained. Well Done to Lynne
and all our people who have shown their commitment, to improving their
skills and providing better services to all our customers.
